These people continue to call my home on a regular basis. Sometimes, it is simply silence. Other times, heavily accented person requests my name and address with no explanation. Do not trust! Do not say the word "yes" at anytime during the conversation. New York NBA fans will be glad to know that the 2013 NBA Draft will be taking place at Brooklyn’s own, Barclays Center. The draft is scheduled for June 27, 2013. Tickets go on sale on May 22 with prices between $20 and $35. For those that don’t watch basketball, the draft consists of professional basketball teams selecting eligible players to join the league. NBA Commissioner David Stern says that The Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets, is an excellent location for such a large scale event. “We are confident Barclays Center is an ideal venue for introducing the next generation of NBA stars to a global audience." The draft was held at Madison Square Garden for 10 straight years starting in 2001 and was held at the Prudential Center in Newark the last two years. The new venue has hosted many entertainment and sports events since its opening last September.
