Go green. Why not? Sure your going to have to spend money now on remodeling and doing little things to help with your carbon output. But in the long run won't it all be worth it? thinking about insulationg? what about using recycled denim instead of cellulose? instead of fiberglass insualtion with have major VOC's and formaldahyde(eeeeeewww thats what they use in dead people!!) why not spray your walls and ceilings and floor joist with something more friendly to everybody like Soy Bean Spray Foam? How about those old windows? man do they just let cold and warm air in and out like it's nobodys buisiness.
