I went to the Geneva Staples with my dad to get an office chair. We knew what chair we wanted, so we asked for it. An employee told us he could see if they had any left, so he checked the computer system. He said they didn't have any in the store, so he asked if we wanted to order them online, so we said sure. Then he says that the model is the LAST chair in the entire area, and he can't order them online because of that. My dad asks if we could buy the floor model for a discount, since it was slightly worn and broken. The guy says he'll go ask.He was gone for 10 minutes before we finally see him... AT THE CASH REGISTER. He was supposed to simply see if we could buy the floor model, and he ended up abandoning us.So as we approach him after he cashed out someone, another employee came up to us and asked if we needed any help. My dad told him that the first employee was checking to see if we could buy the floor model and Employee 2 says, "We don't sell floor models" and walked away. ...read more
