We ordered subway tiles with long side bullnose and short side bullnose. Our contractor ran out of short side and we were left with an excess of long side. We counted what was left and realized that we had 20 more long side bullnose than what was ordered and we were missing 20 short side. Irene insisted that's not possible and we got exactly what we ordered. I spoke to Kathy, the owner. She was belligerent, cutting me off and trying to trip me up. We asked for an even exchange of our excess long side for short side. They suggested that we bought similar tiles at Home Depot and were trying to exchange them at KV so we could defraud them over $75. Irene told us that the guys who packed our boxes weeks ago remembered packing the tiles and don't make mistakes. They said we could bring the tiles back to them so the supplier could inspect them and then come back a different day if deemed ok. It was not worth the effort so ended up ordering them online at a lower price than KV's. ...read more

If I Have A Virus, Will I lose all of my Data?
Our data that is stored on our computers is the most important thing about our computers. Data does not have to be lost just because you have a virus. Sometimes inexperienced computer techs give bad advice, telling the customer that they must re install their Operating System if they have a virus, thereby losing ALLof their data, but that usually does NOT have to happen. We must realize that many computer techs have no formal education and have learned what they know just by trial and error, and from friends and some reading on the internet. There are many different things that can be done to a computer infected by a virus that can remove the virus without losing precious data. There is software embedded into most, if not all of the newer Microsoft Operating systems that, if accessed, can remove a virus within 15 minutes. For the more stubborn virus's, ones that will not let you even get into safe mode, there are antivirus recovery disks that can be run from your CD drive which will remove even the worst of virus's. That is, as long as your CD drive is working properly. There are even devices that one can use that connects one computer to the infected computer, and can run an Antivirus Scan on the infected drive by using the other computers Antivirus Program. When you have a virus, ask the tech you call how many times they have removed the virus without having to wipe out the hard drive. After all, this is what is MOST important to us, our data!
