After I read all the bad reviews I felt it was my responsibility to make a comment about this place. I've gone to a lot of places in Clifton Park and out of all the places I've noticed that Sunsations: the only place I can get a good tan without upgrading to a more expensive bed (they are constantly changing bulbs), one of the only places that doesnt have hidden fees explained to you after you've chosen to sign up. I went to St Croix solely because it had a $20 a month sign in the window and I only came home on university breaks and ended up having to pay an extra $20 to sign up. Besides when signing on for a package I've never been encouraged to buy lotion- a lot of salons work on commission or have some incentive to sell so you are going to get that at any tanning salon. As for the unfriendly workers, I have experienced that and there really is no excuse for that but I know better than to have a snotty teenager ruin my day and the manager is so sweet it almost makes up for them. ...read more
