Tops has only gone downhill since it's first couple of years in Canandaigua. The store is dirty, moldy and outdated food can be found in nearly all of the perishable departments, associates always look miserable, the prices are high, and the management could care less. Every time I have shopped there I have observed management sitting leisurely in the carryout cafe, while only a few associates seem to actually be doing their jobs. After a sub par shopping experience I often have to wait in line for a long time since they obviously don't staff cashiers appropriately. After a few disappointing shopping trips to Tops, I've decided that I'd rather save myself some sanity and money and shop at Walmart or Wegmans instead. ...read more
