Phil Fox owns this company and he is a scam artist. Told us we would deduct $100 in 2014 from our snowplow contract if we signed for two years. In 2014 he plowed 2X, never came once we started getting the snow that turned into the Snovember Storm (7 feet) even though he knew my husband had only one lung and I had a bad back so it was IMPERATIVE he plow. Did not return phone calls or texts. Still has not showed up this year either. He uses a PO Box in Elma to avoid small claims (they can't send certified mail to a PO Box). Sheriff tells us he lives at 4940 Lynwood Drive in Hamburg (Blasdell mailing address) but found out mail gets refused when sent there. We are stuck for more than $900 after hiring someone else in 2014-15 season and again this year. My wife and I have contracted numerous jobs with Mike and trust him completely. We have never had any issues with Mike or anyone working on his behalf. I believe he has completed 3 major projects over the years and many little ones - never once were we disappointed. In fact - the reason we always go with Mike is because we know he will do the right thing - he never does anything cheap or wrong and he is worth every penny we have spent! The folks that have posted nasty things about Mike and Nina a vicious and evil people that aren't telling the entire story. I know all too well, being self employed at one time that people will turn on the contractor and many times win in court when they should have been thrown in jail. I personally know many people who have used Mike for jobs and without any issue whatsoever. In fact - he is typically booked months ahead. My 86 year old mother paid this guy over $4000 to pour a concrete driveway. Like other complaints, he played phone tag and weeks later ripped up her driveway. Same story, disappears, can't reach him and finally gives a sob story about his money woes. My mom, a cancer patient had to get her car from a neighbors when she needed to go out. He got very rude and sarcastic with her when she asked for her $ back. Nothing, had to hire another company, tried resolving with local news investigators and after 2 years are trying court. I had a large 3000+ word review written but it seems as though it's too long to post.Long story short, this contractor is a fast talking con artist that makes promises he can't keep just to get money from you to pay for the previous customers job he did this with. Then when you ask what is taking so long, he tells you that he doesn't have money to buy the concrete he needs to finish your job, even though you paid him half up front to cover that cost.
