Big variety of exercises, but approach to training is outdated. No real understanding of the overall body's need for rest and recovery, which will lead to long, frustrating periods with no improvement after the first month or two. At that point, only one solution is offered: train to the absolute max all the time, starve yourself, and hope for the best -- as if your glands, organs, and nervous system never need more than a day or two of rest from back-breaking training. Injuries are common. A "good" workout is considered to be whatever leaves you lying on the floor panting for breath. Eating plans have a lot of processed, high-sodium food. (Competitors can expect severe water restriction before shows.) There is a lot of emotional manipulation (such as guilt trips) and pressure to give up your life outside the gym (boyfriends, vacations, etc.), as well as outright temper tantrums for various reasons. It will be subtly implied as well as made clear that clients who dare to miss a workout to pursue some other interest will not be "trained seriously," although "they" (translation: "you") will still be expected to "pay seriously." There is no education so that you can someday know enough to train on your own -- instead, you are expected to become more dependent. The overall feeling is more like that of a cult rather than a business. If your child trains here and is suddenly "too committed" to go on vacation with the family, you may want to ask a few more questions -- chances are good that s/he is being pressured.
