I had taken my car to Goodyear back in January of 2011 to have the wheel bearing replaced. Seemed pretty cut and dry; nothing bad goin on until a couple months later my car started getting very loud and come to find out it was the same wheel bearing again. I went back into goodyear and had the wheel bearing replaced; of course at no cost, and went on my way. I was pleased until today when I called back because of the same exact issue. I don't know if they have bad parts or if there is something bigger going on here. When I called in to ask when my last appointment was to see if the warranty was still good the gentleman (Ed) told me that the original work was done in jan and that I had to bring it back in in April but the warranty was no good because of the date of the original appointment. This is unacceptable. So; basically they are telling me that I had to go back because of their mistake and now because the warranty is from the time when THEY messed up and not when they corrected THEIR error that I will have to fork over a couple hundred dollars.
