We stopped into the Raymour & Flanigan on Walden Avenue just to get an idea what couches they have. A salesman named Scot approached us, and was very pleasant and NOT pushy. After looking around awhile, we were pretty impressed with the price for the quality. Scot approached us a couple of times to see if we needed anything or had questions, but other than that he didn't bother us.\t\n\t\nOnce we decided we will be making a purchase, Scot was very helpful discussing the item details, the warranty information, and the financing. They only had the one color in stock as a sofa bed, and we didn't want to wait 8-10 weeks to order without the bed, so we decided to purchase what they had which was the color we wanted anyway.\t\n\t\nScot made the transaction smooth & quick, and a short while later the purchase was complete. The couch was delivered as scheduled a week later, but they had called beforehand to say the loveseat would be delayed a few days. R&F delivered the loveseat as scheduled as well.\t\n\t\nWe didn't expect to make a purchase that day, let alone make that purchase from R&F. Much of our decision has to do with the terrific salesperson. Very recently i purchased a game from this place through the mail and my only opinion is CON ARTISTS. I asked if the game in question had everything with it...instruction manual, game case, game case sleeve. (I am picky about the condition of my games, after all they are not cheap and i take good care of my things, plus it is something i am spending my money on.) The answer i recieved was yes it comes with everything. I purchased the game, when it was delivered i was in for a big shock. First off it was shipped in a brown paper bag that wasnt even marked fragile(glad it didnt break). Secondly it did not come with game case or case sleeve, while this might not seem like a big deal the only reason i purchased the game from this place is because i was told YES IT DOES COME WITH THESE THINGS . I called in order to straighten things out and was met with the attitude of so what? we got your money, we dont do refunds and the items you were told it came with went to someone else after you were told yes, because you wasted time asking questions. They actually said that, it blew my mind. A consumer isnt allowed to ask questions about something they are going to spend their money on??????? Save your money and your sanity, go somewhere else and get treated a lot better. ...read more

Curb appeal is the first impression of your home to buyers. You want them to come to a screeching stop when they drive by your house. Curb appeal starts at the front door and includes landscaping, lawn, the side and back gardens, the foundation, siding and even the chimney. Curb appeal matter because clients decide within 15 to 30 seconds of seeing the house whether to buy or not to buy. Walk around the house and look for anything distracting. Put away those garbage cans, gardening tools, toys, and excess lawn ornaments. The lawn should be green not brown - water the lawn, weed and feed, pull the weeds and reseed the areas that have died. Mow the lawn on a regular basis and trim around the bushes, trees, and the other objects where trimming is overlooked. Go through the flower beds and remove the weeds and the dead plants. Nothing is more distracting to buyers then to walk in a yard and all the flowers are dead or the beds overrun with weeds. Make sure the front of the house is cleared of over grown bushes and trees. You want your house to be seen from the street. Driveways are also part of curb appeal. Are there weeds growing between the cracks? Are there oil stains? Cat litter is a good product to use to soak up oil on the driveway. Use a pressure washer to get rid of the dirt and stains on the driveway. Look at your mailbox, house numbers, and door latches lights These should all be of the same metal. Cast iron or polished brass are the ideal metal to have on your house.
