When I met Jeff Cohen two and a half years ago, I remember that one of the things he said to me was: "Do 8 to 12 sessions of hypnosis with me and it will change your life." I took him up on it. In the period of a few months, I did the first 8 sessions, and followed up with a few more sessions in the year that followed. He was right -I got to clear so much junk that was holding me back that it did change my life. Jeffery Cohen is a likeable, knowledgeable person whose intentions were good but the fact is that he could NOT hypnotize me. I asked him about his policy if the client could not be hypnotized and he claimed that he had never NOT been able to hypnotize someone, well, gee, guess I'm the first. He determined that the reason was because I lacked "imagination". And it was this lack of imagination that was also stifling my progress in other parts of my life. Bottom line is that he was blaming ME for his inability to hypnotize me. He kept asking me what was blocking me and what I was afraid of. How the hell was I supposed to know? Though skeptical, I followed his direction as best I could because I really wanted to be hypnotized - and after years of therapy, I saw it as a last resort. Although Cohen was entitled to the full $300 for his time he should not have asked for it.
