1930s Gillette New Type Razor Bowl Brush Blades Stand Soap http://youtu.be/3ABYzrUYzx8 … More Pictures   I offer for sale this wonderful vintage brass shaving ensemble, all items are brass and as you can see in the pictures quite beautiful. To begin with the razor is a 1930sGillette New Type safety razor that shines as if it were new. This razor is in Very Good + Condition, there is a very small stable crack in the handle, the razor has No broken or bent teeth and all parts fit together tightly as they should.   This never to be found again brass handcrafted shaving bowl was made sometime around the same time frame as the razor, the handcrafting on the outside of the bowl is something that just is not done anymore. As you can see in the pictures the solid brass bowl has a shine to it that only brass has when polished. Both the inside and the outside are in magnificent condition. The bowl measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches across the top. The bowl also is stamped on the bottom "India" with a serial number which I imagine denotes the maker.   The brush, also made of brass is in Excellent Condition, the bristles are tightly woven into the handle and not losing any bristles, the brush stands approximately 4 inches tall, also included in this great set is a NOS (new old stock) dispenser of Gillette Super Stainless Razor Blades that has never been opened.   Also included is a magnificent brass stand with no scratches or gouges, it measures approximately 7 inches tall by 4 inches wide and is absolutely beautiful, it shines is only brass can. Also included is a new puck of William shaving soap, NOS (new old stock) still in the original box and never has been opened. Every item in this set is in fantastic condition. The lower the number, the less likely you will knick your skin.   The black paint on the numbers and collar is in very good condition and there is lots of red remaining on the number indicator.  This razor design is tried and true and is both a work horse and a show horse.
