'Service for Life' is a free monthly newsletter published by Hamel Realty and provides valuable information concerning the do's and don'ts of buying & selling a home. The efforts of the newsletter are nothing less than genuine in it's attempts to help inform readers about real estate matters. A fantastic feature is the offer of 'Free Consumer Reports and Consumer Resources Information'. It also has articles concerning home safety, general consumer advice, vacation & home repair tips to name a few topics. 'Service for Life' also has many interesting items about current events, topical items and lighter side tid-bits. I would give this real estate agent no stars if that was an option! I had to sell my home while living away in another state. This agent promised to take care of it. First of all he didn't bother to get me a good or even fair price for my home, he asked me to allow a prospective buyer to live in the house while they arranged financing and he allowed a second potential buyer to come and go from the property at their own will (according to the neighbors). He did NOT communicate with me what was going on and after closing, his broker ""forgot"" to give me $1000 of my money. It was a three month closing that was pure horror. When it snows unless your attic and eaves are filled with foam insulation its impotant to remove the 1st 3 ' of snow . This prevents ice dams . Ice dams cause melting snow to sit on the edge of the roof and when the water gets to a point where it can seep behind the shingles .
