Remove Roof Snow

When it snows unless your attic and eaves are filled with foam insulation its impotant to remove the 1st 3 ' of snow . This prevents ice dams . Ice dams cause melting snow to sit on the edge of the roof and when the water gets to a point where it can seep behind the shingles . This water seeps down into the walls and sometimes thru the cieling .
