They charged $1,100.00 to replace the front upper and lower control are bushings on my 1969 Triumph TR6 and come to find out they only replaced the uppers. Then what they did replace was not done correctly and the new bushings were coming apart making the car unsafe to drive. The owner, Brad Erling initially said too bad, so sad, I'm not giving you a penny back nor am I going to fix what you paid for. I also explained I would report him to the Nevada DMV to be investigated. He has now offered to refund $300.00 of the $1,100.00. So it's going to cost me for another shop to do the job over. That would be $2,200.00 (original work not done and new work to be done) less $300.00 from Brad or a total of $1,900.00 for front control arm bushings. The guy is obviously not concerned about his customers, just what he can put in his wallet. Unfortunately we will never again use Instant Smog in the Reno/Spars area, Their price for smog is double almost triple for other area smog stations, and fees are not posted. Also their fee to do registrations are double that of area competitiors. its sad in this day and age when you want to support local business but when they are knowingly sticking it to you....SHAME ON YOU INSTANT SMOG!!! I have passed this information along to friends and famly asking and telling them to steer clear of any Instant Smog Station.
