He is a totally biased judge. Unbelievably horrible judge. I will be posting the whole story later but my ex is a DEA agent (and a marginal one at that) was abusive to me and my girls. judge Harter had my girls interviewed and we were preparered to move as had been planned for months. My ex, who see's his girls less than 8% of the time lied to the court and even when confirmed by my girls in an independent consular of the court, the HORRIBLE Judge Harter would NOT allow there testimony as evidence. He ripped my family apart! He appointed a psychologist to do an emergency evaluation on my daughters because there was some suspicions about my EX and his wife alienating my daughters from me. After the evaluation, the psychologist found that there was moderate to severe parental alienation coming from my EX and his wife and she urged Harter not to let my daughters leave the state with their father. Harter let my daughters relocate to CO and I havent seen them or spoke to them in over a year. Sick man! Now my youngest daughter (from my current marriage) is growing up with out her two older sisters and I am missing out on my daughter's lives. If you end up with this Judge file a peremptory challenge immediately. My ex husband has had 3 dui's and charge with lewdness with a minor under the age of 15 and Judge Harter would not even acknowledge any of this information. I was in an abusive relationship with my ex and gave him joint legal joint physical custody in order to get the divorce. We later agreed to a stipuation and order giving me primary phsical custody. When we went into court in order for me to be able to leave the state with my children, Harter refused to even let me or my attorney speak. My ex did not dispute the new stip and order and the Judge told him he would give him time to file a motion to set aside the stip and order, giving us the joint legal and joint physical!!!! I was then recommended strongly to get a report done on what the move would have on my children..... for $11,0000!!!!!!!! This Judge called me a liar, deceitful and underhanded, I now make $30,000 a year, my ex makes $90,000 and I have to pay his travel expenses and he does not even pay full child support. If I could give no stars that would be too many. Chalk another ruined family up to Hoskin, I don't even know if he was awake during this hearing because his findings were a laugh. If you work hard, support your child, but do not have the gift of gab don't waste your time. Give a child to two drug users one of which is a thief and penalize the family for helping out. If you get this Judge in family court....consider yourself SCREWED!!!!!! God only knows how he EVER got appointed from attorney to judge....ONLY IN LAS VEGAS!! He doesn't even reside in the city! He lives in Mesquite! He passes ALL work onto parenting coordinators, so there is less work for him. If you try to file a motion to change anything, you will get denied YOUR RIGHT to a hearing in court and the buck will be passed on to someone else, even if there is CLEAR EVIDENCE that your ex is in contempt of court for many things, and you even show proof, he doesn't care! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH THESE GUYS OR (GUY).After placing my order I had no idea that the order I just placed was not in-stock and would require a week before it would ship, I received no message, or invoice telling me anything so I figured I would receive myitem in a couple of days through standard usps being that they are in NV Vegas and we are in So. California.I finally receive a message from them a week later (days after a ceremony) the wife and I present the program with a check (charity).
