I am a professional magician/mentalist in South Florida who was hired by Lucille Star, owner of Star Entertainment Worldwide, to perform at an event here in Florida. I arrived early, performed for more than the contracted time, and made sure the client was happy before I left. That was back on September 14th, 2013. In spite of numerous phone calls, emails, texts, and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I have yet to be paid a penny for my time. I have discovered from research that this company is notorious for charging the client and not paying the talent. I beg you to avoid this company like the plague. The talent may not show up if they have been burned before by Ms. Star and if they do show up rest assured they will potentially not be paid.
