My self and 3 other people I know have been previous patients at this office and they treated us all like we were drug addicts. I have solid medical documentation backing up my condition and they treated me like a drug addict. I have an excellent Dr. now that treats me with repect and dignity. On my first visit to this ofice Dr. Goode told me that he he would like me to try and get private insurance. He told me that he didnt like taking medicaid patients because he could be across the hall with a privately insured patient making 5x as much money in the same amount of time. My close friend was in to see him on a first vist and he made them feel cery worthless due to his comment s regarding her having medicaid insurance. This person is disabled from a serious accident and it is the only option they have for insurance. Yet Dr. Goode told her that he could be across the hall making way more money with a privately insured patient than what he was going to make by seeing her.It sounded so familiar when I was told this by my friend. This Dr. doee not have any compassion nor care about the suffering of his patients that they go through on a daily basis. He drives home in his brand new lexus to his big house while we suffer through pain and all he cares about is how he can make money from it. Pain management Drs are entrusted to help people that are suffering. This means that compassion and empathy should be a big part of thier attitude. Well not these people. I would probably guess that if you do have private insurance that he can really rack up the $ from. He probably will treat you better because he will not want to lose the $ he gets from your private insurance.
