Our family rented the Sierra Vista house for the week after Christmas. Upon arriving, we found no snow; however, at the top of the hill was a sheet of ice that we weren't expecting. When I called the rental office to find out if there was another way to get to the property besides the ice covered hill, I was told by the receptionist on duty rather sarcastically, " I guess you'll have to go get chains!" Really? After going to Walmart and purchasing the last set of chains they had for one of the three vehicles in our party, we spoke to one of the neighbors and found that indeed there was another road leading from 5th Street that was clear of snow and ice. The receptionist also reminded me that since we had paid in full, they would not refund any portion if we decided not to stay, and then proceeded to hang up on ME!Now when it comes to getting our $250 deposit back, they want to keep $25 for a wall hanging that wasn't even on the wall when we arrived!
