Bruni Karr is the poorest excuse for a professional business I have ever seen. Nee to speak to someone? Good luck getting someone to answer the phone much less call back or respond to emails. The maintenance workers are incompetent (electrician shocked himself replacing ceiling fan because he couldn't find the correct teakettle and had to turn off power to entire home). The upkeep of the homes are dismal. Rented a home that had toxic black mold because they did not properly care for the home and was told I needed permission from the owner to break the lease to move my two small children out of the toxic environment that could have been avoided had they done the repairs to a leak properly. These guys hire their relatives do work on the properties they manage, and the work is non-licensed and shoddy. I had to threaten to sue them just to get an actual repairman to come out. They also broke verbal contracts with me and charged over $1000 for non-itemized "cleaning" charges when I moved out. They somehow got a civil judgement against me without actually serving me a subpeona, so I'm now looking at hiring a lawyer, appealing the first judgement, and countersuing them. My agent was terrible at her job. Weeks would go by before I got responses from various phone calls, emails, etc that I would make. Mistakes on my payments were often made and they allowed repairs that were over 250 without my consent. The best thing that could have happened was that my tenant vacated the property without paying rent so I could terminate my contract with Bruni Karr. The only person who helped me was a bookkeeper type person and it was at the end of everything. Otherwise I would have kept losing money all year. I would give them zero stars if I could. Do not let these individuals near your property if you need to rent it out! They will tell you they are taking care of things they aren't doing and then charge you for their errors. They didn't get the keys back from a tenant so I had to pay a locksmith (high Desert Locksmith - ridiculously expensive!) to let them into the property they are supposedly managing. Then they lied to me about it being rekeyed - that separate bill with a separate service charge came two months later. I got a call from new tenants that the water was about to be turned off because they didn't bother to pay the bills between tenants (which of course the owner pays anyway). They turned the heat up in the house between tenants so that it was twice as high as when it was occupied and 3.5 times higher than the unoccupied month before. They never go by the property to make sure it is okay - I saw two giany holes in the roof that they didn't know were there and have been asking the for a YEAR to get them fixed, and they still have not. The food has always been delicious, even to go is always tasty. The place is always crowded, excellent food for the price. My husband and I had a 6PM reservation Christmas Eve, finally seated at 6:35 in the bar/dancing floor area. Odd! Nothing was said by the lady seating us, she just walked off. Then there were several others being seated also. Then after five minutes the bar tender showed up with a very quick voice about the specials, never understood a word he said then left quickly. There was no Christmas music, table settings, nothing said for why the seating area. We finally ordered, then went to salad bar. We notice many empty tables open, even for two people, why did we not get one, and there was no one waiting at check in. Bread never showed up, had to ask several times for refills on coffee and water. Was never asked about our service or comments.
