How can you manage to pay you bills on time

It's hard to keep up with every little detail about your business but you got to do it to keep on float. One important aspect about the business is trying to pay your bills on time. It is important to pay your bills when they are due if you want to keep your good credit score. Now-a-days, having  good credit means having access to many good things, such as business loans, lines of credit, etc. We all know that it is hard to pay the bills exactly on the day they are due and one important thing to keep in mind is, you got to be "organized" and plan ahead. I have some suggestions that might help you at least get the payment there on the date it should. Here are the things that you need (which I'm sure you have in your office) calendar, a place where you can put your mail when it comes and at least an hour to review your mail every day. When your mail comes in, put it in the bin or a place where you know is safe. Open your invoices and in your calendar write the dates the payments are due. If you use an on line calendar, set reminders of at least 10 days prior to the payment due date, this way you have plenty of time to see whether you will be able to pay your bill. If you don't like writing checks, you can set up "bill pay" but you got to sign up through your bank in order to do this. With this method, your payment will be sent out on the date you wish for your funds to be withdrawn from your account. You will save the stamp, the writing and the walk to your post office. Nice huh? :) It can be done, but you got to put effort and a little bit of your time. Let's keep in mind that this is just a simple method, you can always find help through people who actually do this for a living. I hope it helps! ...read more
