Was not pleased at all with the service I received. The arrangement I ordered on 2/11/2011 for my wife, to arrive on Valentine's Day, did not arrive until almost 9pm - long after she had already left for work. I called the store at 4pm and offered to pick up the arrangement because it had not arrived, and I was told I could not because it was already out for delivery. On top of spending way too much money, the balloon that was to be included was missing. Delivery person was rude and claimed they knew nothing about it. Also, delivery person arrived in a compact car, making it very hard for me to believe that when I called at 4pm that she was driving around for 5+ hours making deliveries without having to stop back at the store. Which in the end means that when I called I should've been able to pick up my order and be refunded the $15 delivery charge for them to take ALL day to deliver my order a few miles down the street, while my wife was at work. The Reviews bad mouthing this venue is 100% Wrong. Hangar 84 is hands down one of the best venues in the South Jersey Area. I just started working there a couple weeks back and I have to say We are the farthest thing from dirty. The bands have alot of at the shows they book. And we clean the stage/floors/bathroom twice a day. (Before and after) It is located in a decent part of venue. There are no bums in our area ( Have no idea where they got that Idea at...) The people are friendly, and worth talking to. Yes there are fights. Bust ask you're self this. What venue doesn't have fights? I Know the electric factory does, and the trocaderio does. Most people just see hangar as being a bad place for kids. But what most people don't see its a place for us to go to and be safe and not be on the streets. Honestly if you do not go to Hangar for the shows then you would never understand. Hangar is a great place for kids to see live bands and the music that most places would never play. Yes, there are fights but if kids are on the street there is just as many. Bottom line Hangar is a great place to express yourself and just have fun and listen to good bands. Great venue. Safe place, even though Landis Ave is a little sketchy, the area is improving. Bands seem to like it there, the last review is COMPLETELY WRONG and the opposite of how it works. ...read more

Not really in a great area to be unless you like to be hassled be bums looking to scrounge for the liquor store located next to the venue. The owners are rude and unfair. I have seen multiple fights that result in someone being thrown out. i have also seen fights where they don't do anything. One of the bands that were scheduled to play were turned down at the door because they didn't sell enough tickets many other bands have been talking about how they aren't getting paid fairly and sometimes not at all because they " already cashed out" ..but if you like sending your kids to a bad area, promoting a show you wont be able to play, not getting payed any money after bringing in 500 bucks for them,or paying an extremely high price for renting the venue then by all means go and enjoy ...read more
