The tech mentioned in the Brazilian horror story is actually the owner, Lynn. She likes to act like she isn't so she can make tips and not be accountable for customer complaints. While I found the staff and environment enjoyable at first I found the services incredibly overpriced with results that definitely did not last. I was not impressed with the fact that once I was done two staff members tried to rope me into making follow up appointments the following week even though I declined. I was coerced several times into making more appointments even when I said I did not want to. I do not like being pressured and I do not think that's the best first impression to give a new client. I went to the Body Wrap Shoppe&Spa for the first time today in hopes of getting an amazing brazilian wax in time for my much anticipated vacation. I have never been more disappointed or more embarrassed in my life. The initial charge is $60 for the waxing. For that price, the result was bruises, scabs, and patches of hair left scattered all over the place. The technicians name was Lynn and she seemed to have no idea what she was doing. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed over 100 times, and the waxing rule of thumb is NEVER wax the same area more than twice. This lady went over the same spots maybe 6 or 7 times with complete failure and unprofessionality. Now I have about 5 large bruises all over my bikini like and other more intimate places & there isn't anything smooth about this wax. Unprofessional, and unexperienced are two words about this tech to say the least. Not only am I embarrassed of the bruises- but there's still multiple patches of hair EVERYWHERE!
