I made an appointment with these people for a Chimney cleaning two weeks ago for this past Saturday. They simply did not show up - no phone call. I left two messages and never heard back. When I called today (Monday) to ask what happened? The owner told me he's been in business 50 years and doesn't need this and hung up on me. I called back and I said I had an appt and was depending on it - he said he didn't care and to go somewhere else and hung up on me again. This is how they do business! Why couldn't they have just called to cancel???? He yelled in the phone "there was a storm this weekend" - does Rain mean you do not call to cancel your appts.??? ...read more

Happy Thanksgiving!
It is the time of year to think about all that we are grateful for. We know that the economy is down, we still have troops fighting in far flung places, and unemployment is still high. Odds are, you would grab anything within reach to knock it down and probably kill it. I wouldn't want it on my front doorstep, but believe it or not, this huge spider can help you out by eating lots and lots of other pests that may be trying to invade your South Jersey home. It is a Black and Yellow Garden Spider - formal name Argiope aurantia. This spider is harmless to humans, unlike the Black Widow Spider or the Brown Recluse Spiders.
