Beacon Metal encourages customers to weigh their material, we pride ourselves on "HONEST WEIGHTS & DEPENDABLE SERVICE". We regret that "FAIRDEAL" feels he was "gypped " on our scale. This incident was never brought to our attention, we would not want a customer to leave our facility dissatisfied. We have been in operation at this location for 40 years, we would not jeopardize our good reputation over a $20. discrepancy. If this incident did occur, I would like to personally apologize to "FAIRDEAL" for the misunderstanding, as this is not the way a dissatisfied customer should be treated. The material should have been reloaded by one of our staff and reweighed on one of our floor scales to satisfy the customer. Please know that you will get a fair deal at Beacon Metal. Our scales are "certified digital scales" and checked by the State of New Jersey Weights & Measures on a regular basis.
