Detailing should be just that, paying attention to the details. I brought my car there recently and had to have the work re-done by another detailer. I had better results from a local car wash.Read More…

Soooo disappointing. Robert aka "rawbear" is dishonest and will try to get as much money as he can out of you. I went to his garage, which is a pig sty by the way, to get my timing belt changed and he quoted me $1300!! I couldn't understand how he came up with this number, the dealer was going to charge me $1100 which is very over priced as it is. He said that the dealer was going to cut corners thats why he was charging me $1300.... seriously??? I called him the next day, and told him i was taking the car to another mechanic because I couldn't afford him. He agreed. I call him to ask how much it would be for the consultation, he tells me that he had to do some work on the car and that it would be $307 for cleaning out the throttle and welding the muffler because it was "making noise"..... WHAT??!! Dude i never told you to fix anything!! To make a long story short. I ended up paying $380 includ. 2 days of "storage"!! ...read more

Shop Pets

About ten years ago, we had a white and black female cat come up to the shop. She was wild and not very friendly. She was also very pregnant. Being animal lovers and having several birds and a dog at the time, we fed her and made a shelter out back for her. We named her Patches, but it never took. Everyone calls her Mama. Well, Mama had two little female black tuxedo kittens, Socks, and Lathe ( Greek for Olive Oil ). Now Socks wasn't to friendly either, and we eventually adopted her out as Lathe didn't get along too well with her, and would chase her away. I couldn't see her being out for weeks at a time without food or shelter. The people that adopted her have given her a very good home and she is now an inside cat that is totally spoiled. Lathe on the other hand is extremely friendly. She believes that humans were provided for her pleasure. She isn't like any other cat I have met in my lifetime, and I have met quite a few. If you are sitting in the shop with an empty lap, she will jump into it to demand attention. She loves to bring me things and drop them in my lap. Over the years I have had a number of animals deposited into my lap. About a month ago, she brought me a male blue parakeet. He was unharmed by her capture of him amazingly. Of course, I kept him and after 48 hours to ensure that he was okay from his trip into the shop, we bought him some friends. Parakeets, I am told, do better in multiples. ...read more
