I went to Panda Hair Salon for a FREE Haircut for Locks-of-Love. They told me they would wash, cut ,and style my hair for free and THEY DID! If you want your hair dried you need to pay for it but they tell you that upfront. I love my new haircut. Bernadette did a fantastic job. They put the ponytails in a plastic bag for me to send in. I went to get my hair cut for free for locks of love - all I wanted was for the employee at Panda Hair Salon to cut 10 inches off my hair evenly. She informed me beforehand that if I wanted a special cut or style I would have to pay for it, so I told her to just cut off the 10 inches for free. She cut it off and made one side obviously shorter than the other side. Knowing I couldn't just leave with my hair like that, I asked "can you just even that out?" She replied "If you want me to style it, it will be 26$." It was so obvious that she had purposely made it uneven so she could charge for "styling" (i.e. - making it even). I'm kicking myself for giving in and just letting her cheat me, but I hope to prevent others from making the same mistake. ...read more
