i can believe that i can find such a great thai food in this small town, the taste of food is very delicious, fresh, good quality, promtly served, you would never find a best food like this when consider the very cheap price of meals, better than other asian food nearby or even newly open chain restaurents around there. i would recommend chicken satay, steamed dumling, pad thai, yellow curry, bangkok duck for the beginner and unforgettable freah mango with sweet sticky rice dessert, also my favorite drink, thai ice tea.....\t\nthe staffs are also very accomodating and provide you a great service especially on weekdays. i really love this place.\t\np.s. they just got best thai restaurent in NH,2005 ...read more

Cupcake Wars?

Well, it seems that Life is Sweet!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0DQs1bopdALast Friday, July 30th, I was contacted by the Food Network Show "Cupcake Wars", and asked to submit a you tube video applying to be on the show.  I have to admit...I was freaked out!  And I let them know it. I wasn't sure I was qualified for the show.  I am certainly not an expert, nor a full time baker. I own a Candy Store...not a Bakery!  However, I certainly do have personality, and I am pretty competitive, and I do make cupcakes...so I figured...why not!And so begins this exciting process.  How on earth do you make a you tube video?  And make a good one? After much deliberation and stress, I have hired a local company to help me.  I want it to represent my amazing store and me...and have the video look good, too! With my daughters, Layne and Elizabeth, and faithful employee, Stacy, at my side...it is our plan to apply for "Cupcake Wars"..and who knows what will happen! Super-exciting and fun. If you want to check us out...here is the link. (coming soon!)And here is the best news!  Through this interesting challenge of applying to cupcake wars, we were inspired to come up with exciting new Candy themed-cupcakes.  Posted on the website is our Cupcake calendar.  Each week will be a new candy inspired cupcake. We take pre-orders so anyone can reserve theirs...and we will be certain to bake enough. While on vacation, for the first time in over 3 years, we made our trial run of Bueno inspired Cupcakes (Chocolate Hazenut, for all non-Bueno eaters) and Andes Chocolate Mint cupcakes with vanilla buttercream.  They are Amazing!  That is all I can say! Woo-hoo!Life is good here at Life is Sweet Candy Store as business continues here on Main Street in downtown Keene, New Hampshire.  HOORAY for me!Happy Summer.Tracy @ Life is Sweet :) ...read more

How to Freeze-Dry Chicken?

Some people like to freeze-dry chicken because it can be stored up to a year and it also reduces the weight of the meat.
