I just picked up my St. Croix stove from these people. I dropped it off over a month ago to get it serviced and tuned up for the season. I installed it this past weekend and went to fire it up, and it does not light. After 15 minutes at throws a code indicating no flame. I expressed to the service man when I dropped it off that the stove does not light on its own and needs to be lit with a torch. Today I called and spoke with the gentleman on the phone in service, and he explained that they ran the stove for 48 hours. I cannot find this to be accurate or honest as the stove is still in the same running condition it was before I dropped it off down there over a month ago. It still does not light on its own, it still soots up the glass, and they refuse to come and even look at it now. All I wanted from them was to give me a stove that worked. I bought a St. Croix Pellet stove from this place 3 years ago. Since then the stove has been down more than 3 months total over the past 2 winters waiting for parts. Service is expensive and poor. The answer is always it needs to be cleaned. It was bad enough that I had to wait almost a month for service, the man was rude when he arrived and I had to wait another 3 weeks for a part. This winter the stove is broken again and they don't have the $17 part in stock and I have to wait 7-10 days. For a $17 part?
