Well. I'd have to say my experience has been good with Dish. No down time and they have supported me with most problems quickly. It is true that sometimes, there’d be signal problems in relation to weather but let’s face it. Nothing is perfect. Casual Furniture World in W-S doesn't stand behind their work. They installed gas logs at our house & the installer gave us instructions to burn the logs on high for 3-4 hours to burn off the gunk. 20 min later the fireplace surround was warped from the heat & the folks at Casual Furniture World say that we closed the damper (which we did not) so they are not responsible for the problem. We had even asked the installer if we needed a heat shield and he said no. Can't believe any reputable company would treat their customers like this and they have practically called us liars about the situation on numerous occasions. This has been reported to the BBB & still the company refuses to settle the dispute other than to offer us $150 to take care of a repair that has been estimated at approx $500. he DVR makes it great for watching one show while recording another. It also gives me the ability to watch a reply or pause the show so I don't miss anything. Recently I had Dish because my friend told me that they have great DVR's. I totally agree. The best I've had. ...read more
