My husband and I rented a 2 person auger to dig post holes for our fence. The equipment operated unreliably, stopping and starting. When we returned the auger and tried to explain the problem, they accused us of trying to get a "free day". Their business hours did not allow for us to call in the problem as they were already closed. The last thing we needed was to have our integrity questioned when the reason behind turning it in late was due to their faulty equipment.
