I have been a customer at this CVS pharmacy since it opened. I am a transplant patient, so I have many prescriptions to be filled. The staff at this pharmacy is extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. The pharmacists always go the extra mile to track down prescriptions that my doctors may or may not have sent in correctly. They let me know of special offers regarding my prescriptions and have saved me a ton of money. ($60/month for 2 years!) They even tracked down one of my prescriptions that was sent to the wrong pharmacy by my doctor, called that pharmacy and transferred my insurance information so when I got to the Walgreen's pharmacy, my order was complete and I breezed through the drive thru. I am delighted with the service I have been provided at this pharmacy. ...read more

I have lived in a neighborhood nearby for four years, so we have had many moments to gauge this CVS pharmacy. The first time we had an issue was over a year ago, when my fiance was having an asthma attack. He RARELY has one, and his inhaler wasn't working. I hurried to CVS to grab a primatine mist otc inhaler, and got there 10 minutes before 10pm (their closing time). The gate was shut and the manager and a couple ppl were standing outside. I explained the situation, and he said there is a 24 hr CVS down Capital Blvd toward downtown, then turned back to his conversation. Terrible. Inexcusable.\t\n\t\nThen, my fiance has been getting allergy shots from his doctors for the last several months, and has to take a Singulair before his appts. Every couple days since he placed and purchased his first Singulair order, we received an automated call from CVS saying his prescription has been automatically refilled and is waiting for him. He called to say he didn't need it for a few months and would call when he needed it refilled. But the calls never stopped.\t\n\t\nLast week, he actually did need to refill the order. He called CVS on a Tuesday morning to tell them, and was told it was already filled and waiting for him.\t\n\t\nWe showed up that afternoon, and was told ""We have a policy that if a refill isn't picked up after so many days, we put it back on the shelf. It'll be ready in about an hour or two."" The place was packed, and Marc explained that he called earlier to place the prescription order, being told it was ready for him already. The guy stared blankly at us, then repeated, ""We have a policy that if a refill isn't picked up after so many days, we put it back on the shelf. It'll be ready in about an hour or two."" \t\n\t\nWe just left. I expect this kind of disorganized, lazy attitudes from high schoolers working down the street at whatever meat-hut gives them jobs, but really? From people who serve the public with health matters? I guess with a manager that disinterested in keeping his store open until advertised closing hours, it only makes sense that the majority of the staff would end up with the same attitude.\t\n\t\nGo elsewhere unless you are fubar and have no where else in your area or driving path to go. ...read more
