Military service members AVOID renting or leasing from RiverTowne Rentals near New Bern, James City and Havelock, North Carolina. I was a tenant and rented with them for a short period of time. During my occupancy, the property manager was very rude. They would stop by and check up on the property more frequent than you would think. To make matters worse they would mail you a copy of the lease agreement highlighting any areas they feel you are not upholding. Instead of a simple phone call and interacting with you they would mail it to you until you read between the lines on what they were implying. The property manager also disliked it when military member break their lease contract with PCS orders, this was made evident during a phone conversation where the property manager was very unprofessional.
