I was actually visiting the OBX over the MLK holiday. Not exactly my favorite time of year to go there but I was visiting family. So many places are closed down there for the "off-season." My family and I were a little hesitant to go to Western Sizzlin because we didn't really want the same ol' same ol'. We went around lunch on Friday and I must say we were very pleasantly surprised. They have lunch specials during the weekdays that you really wouldn't expect to see at a buffet place...Philly’s, salads, etc. They're all really good too. We also decided to go the next morning for breakfast and I must say their breakfast buffet is delicious. Not something I really expect from a buffet but it was well worth it. The service was impeccable and everyone that works there was very friendly. With the great prices and quality of the food (yea it's better than you would think it would be) I would recommend Western Sizzlin OBX to anyone looking for some good eats. :) ...read more
