My fireplace pilot would come on, but no flames - I read troubleshooting guides online telling me to check wiring - I called L&L and he said "i can fix this over the phone" he told me to tap the valve with a wrench and viola'! it worked - didn't cost me a thing and now i'm getting toasty warm on this cold winter's day! Called in the morning because we couldn't get the fireplace to light. They were here at 250pm, and out again at 315pm Pleasant and so helpful explaing the workings to me. He will be on my A-List for service should I need it again. ...read more

I tried doing my floors myself , BAD IDEA if you have never done it .. well i called Capitol flooring and they bailed me out of a bad situation i got myself and my family into , with smells , dust etc .. Roger & his curteous crew made quick work of the project , sanded & stained my floors they look incredible 1 1/2 years later... In today's market you will find a lot and i do mean a lot of flooring companies looking for work in the existing residential market as the new construction market has slowed by more than 50% in the last year or so, with that being said as a new customer you should do your due diligence to make sure you are dealing with a company that 1: Has been in the residential market for a long time - because the two different markets require different mind sets 2: The company will be around in the near future if you have any type of problems that may come up after the work has been completed and 3: You are comfortable and confident you will receive what you pay for and you can count on getting a quality product or service from whomever you pick as your flooring contractor. Whats better? It depends. Vinyl will not rot but unless every bit of wood can be replaced with vinyl there are still opportunities to get rot. Vinyl is sometimes cheaper than wood and it can be painted nailed etc similar to wood, sanfding is sometimes an issue. For your next project consider vinyl be consider wisely. ...read more
