The "kid's meal" consisted of a SINGLE slice of bread with about 1 ounce of meat & a yogurt tube -- for the insane price of $3.99--no beverage, no cookie. Bear Rock Cafe offers a FULL sandwich, chips, drink & fruit cup for the same price. When we expressed our disappointment to BOTH managers, they simply shrugged & said "that's what we offer". This kid's meal would not nourish a 2 year old!! Any reasonable manager, eager to appease a valued customer, would immediately make amends or offer to "comp" the child a pastry/cookie. Not here. I had a chance to order some lunch for our staff during furniture market, so I ordered 9 philly cheesesteak lunch specials...I showed up, the parking lot was packed and there was a line inside. Good thing I called the order in and it was ready. Nick helped me to the car and I was on my way. It got awefully quiet for a few minutes while everyone enjoyed their sandwhiches. So yummy. Words alone cannot express the tastiness and care that goes into each order. The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean. I had an employee pick up an order for us at work. The spaghetti was filled to the top and extra cheesy (that is normal for them) and the bread was crisp on the edges, soft and buttery in the middle.
