Shook & Tarlton Property Management

yes my husband and I looked online at the apartments that Shook and Tarlton had for rent there were pictures of inside of all the properties except the Eastmont I went to look at the apts there and they were awful. So I tried a different property that had pictures and they looked gorgeous from the pictures online so I go to Celery Stalk and they look nothing like online they look nasty on the inside. One had black mold in the tub and closet doors were hanging of the henges. So I told myself ok if 2 properties look this bad then I don't want to look at another one sorry. So we found us a better apt somewhere else that was a lot cleaner and utilities included can't beat that so I would not recommend this place to anyone. And if they tell you they will call you back don't hold your breath isn't going to happen. ...read more

I have been here for 2 years. First in a 2 br apartment and then in a townhouse. The management does not talk to eachother. You cannot get a work order in until they feel its time to work on it. How do you go without a stove for 4 days? If your looking to get satellite or already have it. They will call Charter to disconnect your wires if they are not ran directly from your dish into your house. You cannot have it ran to the wires running in your house. The pool is not maintained properly and opens late each year. The walls are paper thin, and you can be evicted for walking to hard and your neighbor complains for than twice. Rent prices are kinda high also compared to others in the area. Do yourself a favor and save the headaches, DO NOT MOVE HERE! I will be telling everyone I know, not to move here! ...read more

I've looked all over Hickory and these are the best-located and nicest-looking apartments in a $400+/- price range. ...read more
