This review is for Dr Bates at the GREENSBORO office on Summit. How would you feel if your child came out bawling telling you that the dentist "sang" shut-up at them for part of their filling work? Or that your child was having trouble breathing through his nose and instead of listening to him, they kept loudly telling him to "breath through his nose" even though they have been told he has trouble breathing normally? It's COMPLETELY unacceptable as a professional to tell an 8 year old terrified child to shut up- I don't care how tired you are, if you sang it, or he was being hard to handle which I'm sure he was (along with other children) seeing how non- compassionate they are. I've been with him here twice before and while I wasn't hugely impressed it didn't go like this time. We couldn't afford to go to previous dentist this year (who was amazing and he did great with them btw) but just bc we are financially strapped and attend a high volume pediatric dentist office should we seriously expect our children to be told to shut up?? I was so angry I had to leave after I let them know I knew what happened, before I really lost it. It wasn't the office lady's fault, she was sweet and offered to get the manager but I was beyond livid.
