The only reason I am giving this a one star is because I cannot give it 0 stars. This place sucked! My husband went here for an alignment on his truck and was told it would take 30 min. Well, 2 and a half hours later he got his truck back. After talking to a very rude manager, my husband was told that his truck was put out of order and that is why it took so long. Yet do to poor customer service and bad management we will NEVER GO BACK!!!!! ...read more

Just Tires

I too was subject to the Just Tire policy of rigging up your vehicle for a "free" alignment check. You know right away that you're going to be hit with the need for an alignment then the drilling for revenues begins! They started the bidding at around $80 and came down to $50 since I kept saying "no." My tires were $100 each on sale, but my bill was almost $600!! I called Just Tires Headquarters to complain of their methods and they said the reason they only charged $50 was because they couldn't do a "full" alignment without a caster kit. Well I'm thinking if that's the case, why did they try to get $80 out of me during the negotiations process? Tried to rip me off? I think so. I also asked them to look for coolant dripping while they had it on the ramps. They didn't check. The next day I ended up with freeze plug repairs at a local shop. While there, they commented that it was ridiculous that Just Tires first didn't clean my new tires (the blue stuff) and second that they did an alignment while my ball joints were obviously worn out!! I've been noticing the ball joint rattle for some time now. Just Tires never once commented about any alignment issues at all. When I agreed to the $50 they had it off the ramps within 5-10 minutes! So, if they could not perform the "full" alignment because I needed a caster kit, why would they proceed to align the wheels at all with worn out ball joints, one might ask.. I assume they didn't even check them. Headquarters was pretty defensive to the alignment issue, probably because their employee lied to them as to why they only charged $50. And BTW, Just Tires IS Goodyear, ya know. This was the store in Garner, NC Hwy70. NEVER AGAIN!! ...read more

By EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS BUSINESS TO BE SERVICED. THE OWNER HAS HAD OUR VEHICLE FOR NEARLY 3 MONTHS! HE DOES NOT RESPOND TO VOICEMAIL/TEXTS. HE IS VERY INCONSIDERATE AND DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WELL WHEN WE HAVE PAID HIM THE FULL COST OF LABOR AND PARTS-A MISTAKE THAT WE WILL NEVER MAKE AGAIN! THE COMPANY THAT HE SUPPOSEDLY IS WORKING WITH TO FILE A CLAIM ON OUR BEHALF FOR USE OF RENTAL CARS AND GAS REIMBURSEMENT HAS NOT SENT US A CHECK YET. WE COULD NOT TELL WHETHER OR NOT OUR CAR WAS BEING REPAIRED AT THIS SHOP OR AT ANOTHER LOCATION BECAUSE IT WAS NOT THERE WHEN WE CHECKED AND WE COULD NOT REACH THE OWNER BY PHONE. WEEK AFTER WEEK OUR CAR WAS PROMISED TO US, AND THEN THERE WOULD BE AN EXCUSE OF WHY IT WASN'T READY WITH ANOTHER PROMISE THAT IT WOULD BE READY THE FOLLOWING WEEK. WE DO NOT TRUST HIM AND WILL NOT REFER ANYONE TO HIM. IF WE ARE NOT SATISFIED WHEN THIS IS ALL OVER AND DONE, SMALL CLAIMS COURT SOUNDS GOOD TO US RIGHT ABOUT NOW UNFORTUNATELY! ...read more

Family Auto Service

I have been doing business with these folks for years. They repaired an oxygen sensor on my Chevy Ventura. The part they installed had a malfunction and when I asked them to see what was wrong, they correctly identified the part and replaced it free of charge. They also did a head gasket repair on my truck which stopped an oil leak. I would refer them to anyone because they are good and honest. \t\n\t\nThey give top-notch quality and their prices are very reasonable, too. ...read more

I was off on Sunday and didn't have any place to go, a friend of me told me Merchant Auto open on Sunday so I give them a tried, what a horrible service! The guy first told me it won't cost me that much but when I return ended up costing me over $300!! For 2 front brakes and rotors, what a ripoff, they never call me and tell me how much its gonna be either, but then again I guess I should've known, when you stand in line and the customer on front of you is complaining, you should do a service from there, and even worst, after they install the brakes they forgot to put the the auti squeak, so my brakes make noises... over charged, poor service, these guys are low life bastards and I hope they get what coming to them. ...read more

This location damaged my 2005 Nissan Maxima (which until that point had over 100K miles and had NEVER been in so much as a fender-bender). The technician changing the oil backed my car into another customer's car when trying to take it back out of the bay. The manager (Ha Nygn I believe) told me when I came to pick up the car that an accident had happened and that they would take care of fixing it. He made a notation on my receipt, took some pictures and told me to get a couple of estimates. It took me many, many months to return with them due to my work schedule (my delay). But ever since I came into the location with the estimates months ago, Merchant's has given me the run around and REFUSES to return my calls, acknowledge the claim in any way, or make payment!!!! \t\n\t\n I was told I would have a check for the average between the two estimates in 4-6 weeks. When over 6 weeks had passed with no word and no check, I called the Hwy 70 location only to find out Ha was no longer at that store and had apparently never filed my claim with corporate. It took weeks of phone calls to get the new manager to finally tell me he had submitted it (but he wouldn't provide any information or claim number, other than a general corporate phone number to call. He's been completely unwilling to take responsibility for seeing this issue resolved, just tells me to call corporate.\t\n\t\nEscalations to their corporate office have been more than useless. All you can reach is a customer service rep or CSR supervisor with no power to connect you to anyone who can answer any questions. All they can do is take my information and apologize that no one is getting back to me. I FINALLY received one phone call from a supposed regional director for Merchants (Ron McClure?) who said he would investigate my claim and promised me a call back in 2 - 3 days. It's now been close to another 3 weeks later, with no word, and my calls are ignored. It's obvious that these are delay and stall tactics to avoid paying for the damage.\t\n\t\nAVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH MERCHANTS TIRE AT ALL COST! They will not make good on anything they accidentally damage on your vehicle and will lie to you repeatedly. They apparently have no interest in customer satisfaction, let alone doing the right and ethical (not to mention) legally correct thing in this situation.\t\n\t\nI guess it's time to get my attorney involved, which is ridiculous considering there wasn't any question of fault to begin with. But now they don't want to pay up for the $1,400 worth of damage done to my car!!! \t\n\t\nBEWARE! ...read more

This shop may very well be great for a routine inspection or minor auto repair such as brakes or an oil change. However, for higher level work, this shop is not for you. I do question honesty when I drive my vehicle about 25 miles (the amount it takes for a cleared check engine light to come back on) and it comes back on after I have been promised the issue has been finally fixed. The hesitation and miss came right back. Glad we got home! However we are several hundred bucks lighter and we still have the same issue! ...read more

I've had the pleasure of knowing Tommie Love for a little more than a year and a half. I was indirectly aquainted with him through our daughters before that. His baby girl was one of my baby girl's dance instructors for years before we actually met. I have been a tenant, in the strip of buildings Tommie owns on highway 42 near I-40 in the Clayton Garner Cleveland area, for 18 months now. The Love and Co. complex had Village Auto, Kellyz Karz, and ofcoarse the body shop when I moved in. With the addition of All On The Line my Japanese / Aisain import automobile repair shop, Gotcha Covered Truck acessories / window tint / spray in bedliners, Capital Glass windshields , New and used tires / U-haul truck rentals...well, there's not much in cars, trucks, mini vans, or sport utilities that's not offered. I'm a car fanatic with a better understanding of the auto manufacturing procees than most. Everything from the structural repairs to the final wash and shammy...the vehicles are Fixed Right! ...read more
