This is it! Effective April 8, 2014, Microsoft will no longer support the Windows XP operating system. This means that Microsoft will no longer produce security patches for critical vulnerabilities in Windows XP and that Internet Explorer 8, the most recent version available for Windows XP, will no longer receive security patches. If you are a Windows XP user, here are several options you can consider: Upgrade your computer to Windows 7 (we do not recommend Windows 8) if the specs of your computer allow it, be sure you have enough memory. If you have an older computer, the most viable option would be to install Linux Ubuntu. Bonus - no more virus! Or if you have the funds go ahead and purchase a new computer.
