I have ADT security in my mother's home and am happy with the service through that authorized dealer. My displeasure is not with ADT.\nI signed up for service with Scott at Advantage, for the cell service package and he told us he would instantly rebate the $99 signup fee that ADT requires them to charge.\nJose came out and said the cell service was not compatible with the installed equipment and replaced it with a brand I didn't recognize. But he didn’t switch out the battery or transformer/converter, and when asked he said they were fine. \nThree months, two calls and a couple emails later, no 'instant' rebate from the dealer yet. ADT called seven times for low battery signals. It is covered by the equipment warranty and the dealer is supposed to replace it, but they wanted $25 to make the trip out. Really? We asked about the battery and now I have to cover part of the cost to fix it?\nWe replaced both at Home Depot instead. I still recommend ADT, but I suggest trying another dealer. ...read more

they treat the other races worse than they do other whites.they fix shooting scores,screw female employees,only start pay @ $9 bucks per hour when they really charge $20. how do they get more cash than the workers? they wont EVER let you get over-time.one owner is black but i really think they dont tell him much about these things.they treat these guys like dirt and have a guy named P~~L that says the N***** word from time to time and it never seems to be a problem. i left those guys and never looked back! ...read more

I hired RDS to conduct some interviews for my divorce hearing. I gave them ALL the information. To include, questions, names, addresses, phone numbers of individuals. I gave them a deposit of $1000.00 approx. 10 hrs worth of work, to start. He later came back and stated they ran out of time and were unable to locate the personel and requested more money if I wanted to continue. I stated to RDS, RONNIE, to give me the investigative reports to show what work they performed. (THIS IS AN INDUSTRY STANDAND!! They use it to verify the hours worked vs retainer. They could not provide anything. I gave them ALL the information to locate these individuals. I took them to court and was awarded my money back. Then he appealed. We went back to court and I won again. 12-29-08. Court file 08 CvD4128, New Hanover County, NC. It has been almost a year and still have not recieved a dime.
