ADT Authorized Dealer Advantage Security Corp.

I have ADT security in my mother's home and am happy with the service through that authorized dealer. My displeasure is not with ADT.\nI signed up for service with Scott at Advantage, for the cell service package and he told us he would instantly rebate the $99 signup f...ee that ADT requires them to charge.\nJose came out and said the cell service was not compatible with the installed equipment and replaced it with a brand I didn't recognize. But he didn’t switch out the battery or transformer/converter, and when asked he said they were fine. \nThree months, two calls and a couple emails later, no 'instant' rebate from the dealer yet. ADT called seven times for low battery signals. It is covered by the equipment warranty and the dealer is supposed to replace it, but they wanted $25 to make the trip out. Really? We asked about the battery and now I have to cover part of the cost to fix it?\nWe replaced both at Home Depot instead. I still recommend ADT, but I suggest trying another dealer. Read More
