I contact this company three weeks ago to put in a Stove into my house, The stove they brought out, didn't work correctly, and the repair guy didn't have the correct tools on hand to fix it, so he came back another day 4 hours late (no phone call to let us know he was running late, and ignoring our calls) just to say they will bring out another stove. I have had to pay someone to wait for them now 6 different occasion, at which 28 hours now have been wasted. They do not call to let you know they are running late, they do not answer texts or phones. And even after talking to a manager there and explaining that I have had to pay someone to sit out there and wait for them to show up over $200 now in the 28 hours of no shows, I had his word someone would be out there for sure, between 4-4:30 today. its 5pm and finally got ahold of the guy and he is still in Durham my house is in Raleigh, and he has to run another test on the stove change out the cord, load it up and expects us to just wa ...read more

My parents bought a dishwasher on 2/29 with a delivery on 3/2, as promised by salesperson (Mark Mayer)... Still not delivered (3/9)... After several conversations and hours on hold, delivery is promised on 3/10, but the store manager (Frank Mathews) could not offer any guarantees, was very rude, arrogant, indifferent, incompetent and ultimately hung up the phone... Do not shop at this store!!! These are not good honest people!!! ...read more

What is a Habitat ReStore?

Did you know that you can build a Habitat for Humanity home without ever picking up a hammer?  In 1991, the first Habitat for Humanity ReStore was launched in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since then, ReStores have expanded to more than 920 stores in five countries and have raised over $100 million to build and repair homes for hardworking families. That’s right. When you shop, donate or volunteer at a Habitat ReStore, you are building homes and hope all over the world. ReStores operate as nonprofits under Habitat for Humanity affiliates. They share the same mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. The purpose ReStores is to raise additional funding to support this mission. Secondary benefits of ReStores include: providing access to lower-cost building materials and household goods to the community, being a public face of Habitat for Humanity in local communities, providing additional volunteer and sweat-equity opportunities, and keeping usable items out of the landfill.  Here are three easy ways you can support the ReStore: Donate: We accept new and gently used appliances, furniture, building materials, household goods and more from individuals and companies. To learn more about the items our ReStore accepts, visit: http://www.restoredurhamorange.org/donatelist/ Shop: You never know what you’ll find at the ReStore! We sell new and gently used furniture, building materials and so much more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. To get a sample of our inventory, visit: http://www.restoredurhamorange.org/shop/ Volunteer: Typical volunteer activities include processing donations, arranging sales items, performing special projects, cleaning, clerical work and assisting customers. To learn more or sign up for an info session, visit: http://www.restoredurhamorange.org/volunteer/ Our Habitat for Humanity ReStore Serving Durham and Orange Counties is located off 15-501 at 5501 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. We’re open Monday-Saturday, 10:00-6:00 and Sunday 11:00-4:00. ...read more
