I got a phone call almost 4 weeks ago to work on a three day assignment and I accepted. I showed up on time was well liked by the client and did a great job helping to update some hospital equipment. Everyone was happy. I was supposed to be paid the following Friday. Friday comes and No Pay No Explination. The staffing agent keeps telling me he is going to put in paper work to have an emergency check overnighted. alright fine he seems nice so I keep waiting. Now he's telling me it is an error in the system. I keep waiting. Finally three weeks later I call in upset because my bills are late. He tells oh its ok its taken care of and I will just need to call back to find out how to pick up my check. So I tell the bill collectors that the money will be there tomorrow. But when I call to find out how to get my check the staffing agent is busy, then he is gone for the day and absolutely no one else in the office can/will help me. In fact they hang up on me twice and one lady is extremely rude. Since I do not have the money to make my car payment after tomorrow I wont be able to make it to my new job and I dont know what is going to happen to my family. Thanx a$$ holes.
