My wife and I were traveling from Boise to Billings. We stayed the weekend in Bozeman with friends. My wife's new Giant Reign needed the hydraulic brake lines shortened, so I called Chalet to see if they could get the bike in on Sunday and get the work done the same day because we were leaving on Monday morning for Billings. They said no problem and they had the necessary fittings to shorten the lines. I got a call after a couple hours from Ryan saying that both the front and rear brake pads were quite worn and needed replacing. I just put BRAND NEW pads in on Wednesday and they had never been ridden before! Trying to sell me $40 in brake pads when the existing pads were brand new. We rode in Billings one day. The next day the rear brake is completely dead and the lever goes back to the grip. There is oil leaking from the compression fitting at the lever.
