When my daughters '97 outback wouldn't start I had it towed to the Subaru Dealer in Bozeman (The Montana Import Group). They said it had a melted wiring harness and would cost $2,000. When the Dealer didn't send the picture of the blob of melted plastic I requested I had the car towed to RMS. Wayd repaired it for $313, It didn't need a wiring harness, just a couple of short wires replaced and contacts in the starter. Do the math. That is a $1,687 savings.
