When ability to walk is affected, everything thatsurrounds or touches a foot- whether it is foot orthoses (commonly known as orthotics or arch supports), shoes, boots, slippers, sandals, socks, hosiery, night splints, bandages, braces, partial-foot prosthetics, or other devices -interactswith a foot.
