I was referred to Andrea by a mutual friend. My first error was agreeing to pay her $375 fee upfront and not researching her experience and reputation. First meeting to develop my target went well. She set a 2 week deadline for the finished product and agreed to communicate with me regarding employment details within that time. I did not hear from her at all. I had to contact her after the deadline passed and learned that it was not completed. I don't think she had started. She had to call at that time to ask a number of questions that should have been taken care of prior to the deadline and as a result, I got a draft that was very incomplete and required a lot of work on my part. The draft was mostly what I had given her from my previous resume, re-arranged. Once I finished answering her questions and filling in the blanks, I returned my revisions to her. This led to her calling very angry and basically telling me my revisions were unreasonable and required a complete rewrite. I explained my disagreement and that I felt I had simply answered her questions, although I did address some things that she agreed to include and completely neglected. She refused to complete the resume in a timely manner and I therefore asked her for a full refund. She refused. To avoid a refund, she threw my suggestions verbatim in the resume and specifically stated that the final product no longer met her professional recommendations. Though I ended up with a completely unusable resume, she kept my money and refused to communicate with me in any way further. She was extremely unprofessional in almost every step of this process. This was a shockingly horrible experience. ...read more

I just read a review talking about how they break the law by being in cities they aren't suppose to be in. I have no idea how this out fit works, but I do know how a private law enforcements work. First, we are not limited to any jurisdiction. We are not like Police departments where they work in their jurisdictions only. Instead, we work in cities where property owners hire us to secure their properties, or enforce any policy they want us to enforce, along with any laws that a person may be breaking, such as trespassing, parking violations or anything else that we can do that we can handle without the aid of Police officers. Granted we don't arrest anyone, however, depending on the security officers level if commission, we do have the authority to detain. The company I work for covers properties in Kansas City Mo. and Ks. Gladstone, Parkville, Overland Park Ks., Leewood, Lanexa, Oletha, Liberty, and a few other cities in the Kansas City Metro area. Your accusation is hollow... ...read more

Hiring Andrea was the best thing I could have done. She was very professional and easy to work with, and since I have circulated the new resume she created for me, I have received several calls for job interviews. I have recommended Andrea to several people! ...read more

What are YOU willing to change to get what you want?
Hmm! This may be the most pressing question each person needs to answer in determining their success in life and business. All to often we get into situations wishing for a different outcome. This could be a bad job and wishing you had a better one. You could be in a bad relationship wishing you had a better one. You could be in a bad financial position wishing for a better one. You could be in a business that once was thriving and wishing you could be in one that's thriving. Now, this list could continue for a while and then some. Here's something for you to think about. What are you willing to change to get what you want? 1) You may have to give up those so called friends who are in reality associates because they aren't with you in good or bad times supporting you. You just happen to have known them all of your life. 2) Are you willing to tell your family to keep their negative assumptions, opinions or whatever to themselves? Their thinking may not have adapted to the new ways of doing business. 3) Are you open to learning how to improve yourself on various levels? 4) Are you ready to break away from those bad habits and start on a new path? 5) Are you really an entrepreneur? Are you disciplined enough to execute a plan? These are just some of the questions I dealt with and you need to contemplate. Understand this, you need to do something different to achieve a different outcome. This I know to be true! Life is too short not to be happy and successful. Yes, you can have both! This is typically achieved by those who have come to the realization, change is necessary and action is mandatory. The internet and cell phone have enabled a new way of doing business which is vital to your success. Embracing and maximizing these technologies is essential. Are you learning how to use them in your life and business? When you turn down business pursuits, did you just say no as quick as possible or did you take a good look before you made a decision? Your situation doesn't change unless you do! In closing, figure out what you're willing to change to get what you want. Take Action! Much success, Anthony D. Event Atmosphere
Dance floor placement; you wouldn't think that this is a huge priority but actually it's one of the most crucial. Psychologically a dance floor that is in the middle of the room is much easier to motivate guests to than one that is at the end of a long rectangular room.Other factors that affect the parties energy level are the placement of your DJ. Please don't put them in a corner offset from the dance floor and then expect them to control the room and coordinate your wedding events. They are a Master Of Ceremonies, or MC as well as your entertainment and they need to be able to look out over the guests and draw them with their voice in the direction that you are wanting them to go.Think also of room lighting and temperature. Both can adversely affect the event or help to make it a success. A room that is too hot makes people sleepy, especially after a wonderful meal. Lights that are too bright make partying intimidating.Music volume would be another consideration. We strive to keep the music fun at all times to stay connected with the audience, but we also understand that people are gathering to visit and may not have seen each other for a great length of time so keeping the volume to a lower level in the beginning of the evening to let people mingle is crucial and respectful. As the evening progresses volume will increase, lights will dim, the dance floor will light up and the energy in the room will grow for a successful and positive evening. ...read more
