I am clean, well dressed and respectful. The owner today was very curt with me and told me that I needed to shop somewhere else because this store is for black women. I asked her surely I was misunderstanding her that she would not sell to me and was telling me to go elsewhere just because my skin was not dark enough but NO. She repeated that this was a store for black women and that I needed to shop somewhere else. I am considering approaching the BBB. She had no cause not to serve me. It was pure racism and there were items that would have suited me, I've shopped at "black hair stores" before and I was looking at higher end items. RACIST. ...read more
