We chose Sugar Mama's for our wedding and it was the biggest regret. They were rude and uninterested when we went in to place the order and we were rushed in making our decisions. She had written down our order exactly as we wanted it, it was verified at the time, we ordered one chocolate cake and one red velvet cake. The day of the wedding I (the bride) show up at the venue and there are two complete B's sitting there in the entry waiting to speak to me, so I got over to see what they needed and they gave me and the event coord. complete attitudes and said they just wanted to talk to me before leaving instead of leaving the cake at the venue with the attendants, that was it?? I didn't have enough going on that day to take time out to just have two rude ladies tell me my cake was upstairs?? It was so weird! When it was time to cut the cake, NEITHER cake was chocolate nor red velvet!!!! It was unidentifiable! So when we went to the store to complain, it took them days to try and figure out what happened, and when they got back to us, they admitted they have no idea what kind of cake we received that day so then they offered a g.c. to their store (uhhh no thanks) and when we declined that, they only offered to refund 1/4 of the cost of the cake.
